A new surprise Nintendo Direct has been announced. Here’s when to tune in

Think the conference season is over? Think again. If there’s one publisher that has fully committed to the art of the showcase this year, it’s Nintendo. From themed Nintendo Direct and Partner Showcases to Indie World presentations and Pokémon Presents, no format has been left on the shelf. And that shows no signs of changing. Just three weeks after the Summer Game Fest, Nintendo is already gearing up for another Direct.

A Nintendo Direct dedicated to Splatoon Raiders announced

In keeping with most of its recent showcases, this will be another game-specific Nintendo Direct, this time shining the spotlight on Splatoon Raiders, set to launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23rd. A dedicated presentation was always on the cards as the release date draws closer, and it’s arriving tomorrow, June 30th, 2026, at 7 AM PT and 10 AM E.T, running for approximately 15 minutes.

No additional details have been shared about what exactly the presentation will cover, though a new trailer and a more detailed look at the game’s gameplay are safe assumptions. Nintendo has also confirmed that a Treehouse Live segment dedicated to Splatoon Raiders will follow immediately after, offering around 30 additional minutes of gameplay footage.

As always, everything will be available on Nintendo’s official channels, primarily their YouTube channel, with a replay going up shortly after for anyone who misses it live. It’s worth noting that Splatoon Raiders had already received a solid spotlight during the early June Nintendo Direct, where a brief gameplay segment was shown during the main showcase.
