Nearly a year since launch, the Nintendo Switch 2 continues to build its library one port at a time. Some arrivals are more ambitious than others, attempting to squeeze sprawling open worlds into the hybrid console’s hardware, while others feel perfectly at home in its portable DNA. While several publishers remain surprisingly tight-lipped about their Switch 2 plans, one of the indie scene’s most respected names has just come out swinging with a flurry of announcements.
A wave of new games confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2
Annapurna Interactive has announced no fewer than nine titles heading to the console. Two are already available, and both are gems in their own right. The psychedelic, rhythm-driven Sayonara Wild Hearts on one side, and the unsettling horror puzzler Lorelei and the Laser Eyes on the other, which made a strong impression at its 2024 launch. Even more exciting, several highly anticipated upcoming titles have confirmed day-one Switch 2 releases, including one that Life is Strange fans have been keeping a very close eye on: Mixtape. Here’s the full list of Annapurna Interactive games confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2:
All newly confirmed games on the console
- Sayonara Wild Hearts (available now): A psychedelic pop action-rhythm game with a flashy, striking aesthetic. Short but memorable, a genuine sensory experience.
- Lorelei and the Laser Eyes (available now): A cryptic horror puzzle game with an unsettling atmosphere and deliberately disorienting design. A gem for those who like their games strange.
- Mixtape (May 7, 2026): An upcoming narrative game soaked in ’90s nostalgia. A bittersweet teenage road trip built around mini-games and a soundtrack that’s shaping up to be something special.
- Stray (May 28, 2026): The most feline game coming to Nintendo Switch 2. The beloved French indie puts you in the paws of a cat trying to find its way home through a cyberpunk city.
- To a T (June 11, 2026): An experimental and delightfully offbeat narrative game from the creator of Katamari Damacy, built around poetic tone and gloriously absurd situations. A must for fans of gaming oddities.
- Wanderstop (June 23, 2026): A narrative management game from the creators of The Stanley Parable. A tea shop, quiet moments, and deeply introspective conversations await.
- D-topia (July 14, 2026): An upcoming dystopian adventure game launching day one on Nintendo Switch 2. Solve puzzles in a world entirely governed by AI.
- Forever Ago (2026): An upcoming narrative game following Alfred on a road trip in search of redemption after a devastating tragedy.
- Demi and the Fractured Dream (2026): An action-adventure set in a fantasy world. Battle cursed Beasts and solve puzzles to save the world from ruin.
