While the official PS Plus free games for April 2026 haven’t been confirmed yet, one of the major titles has already surfaced. After a generous March lineup, featuring games like Monster Hunter Rise, The Elder Scrolls Online, and PGA Tour 2K25, PlayStation is gearing up for something big next month, with a AAA title that made waves when it launched and is even getting a sequel soon.
A major free game has leaked for PS Plus in April 2026
This leak comes from Billbil-kun, the reliable informant who’s often ahead of the curve when it comes to spotting big announcements. As usual, he’s shared details about one of the key upcoming PlayStation Plus games. There’s always one standout title, and for April 2026, it looks like the king of free PS Plus games will be Lords of the Fallen. The famous XXL RPG from CI Games was a big hit at launch, thanks to its visually impressive take on the souls-like genre.
Heavily inspired by FromSoftware’s hits, including Dark Souls and Elden Ring, Lords of the Fallen plunges players into a dark fantasy world split into two realms, one scarred by war, the other consumed by darkness and creatures. You play as a Dark Crusader on a mission to rid the world of evil by overthrowing the demon god, Adyr.
Before hitting PS Plus as a free game in April 2026, Lords of the Fallen received significant updates, including the major 2.5 update that improved the game in multiple areas and added new content. Lords of the Fallen will be available to PS Plus subscribers from April 7, 2026, until May 5, 2026. In the meantime, you can still enjoy the current games and add them to your collection. Monster Hunter Rise, PGA Tour 2K25, Slime Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection Gold Road will remain available until April 7, just before the new lineup takes over.
