A New State of Play Confirmed for November 2025

This Monday’s unexpected announcement from PlayStation brings exciting news : a new State of Play is coming very soon. This particular event will offer a departure from the usual formats seen in previous presentations. According to a blog post from PlayStation, this edition will be exclusively focused on PS5 games from the company’s Japanese and Asian partners. Lasting 40 minutes, the event promises a mix of new game announcements and « exciting news » about existing titles, and is scheduled to air on Tuesday, November 11, at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 11pm CEST.

While the list of potential games is long, it’s highly likely that we’ll get updates on Phantom Blade Zero. The game has already made a significant impact at previous State of Play events and had promised to reveal its release date by the end of the year. It’s also highly likely that Sony’s China Hero Project, which highlights Chinese-made games, will see some of its latest titles featured prominently. Previous games showcased through the initiative include Forged in Shadow Torch, ANNO Mutationem, AI Limit, and Lost Soul Aside.
