The latest entry in the legendary survival horror franchise has been particularly dominant, having already surpassed 6 million copies sold, eclipsing its predecessors in the process. The Japanese studio shows no signs of slowing down, continuing to refine and update Leon and Grace&#8217;s new adventure while a first DLC waits in the wings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Over-the-shoulder camera mode arrives in Resident Evil Requiem<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This new update follows the version 1.1.1 patch released earlier this month, which addressed several progression issues and brought broader gameplay improvements. Resident Evil Requiem today&#8217;s update continues that work, ironing out a few remaining rough edges, but its headline addition is the long-requested Photo Mode, now accessible directly from the pause menu. Alongside Photo Mode, the update patches a bug that was blocking progression &#8220;under certain conditions,&#8221; corrects typos across several languages, and adjusts character facial expressions in specific cutscenes to better convey emotion and make those moments land with greater impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only one major franchise staple is still missing from the package: the iconic Mercenaries mode.
