Fortunately, PC gamers can still rely on a particularly dedicated modding community, which always find ways to offer new content for our favorite games.

Phantom and unofficial DLC for Cyberpunk 2077

Once again, the Cyberpunk 2077 modding community proves its worth, as the game just received the first installment of a series of mods designed to introduce new content for CD Projekt’s futuristic RPG. Titled “APEX – Sonora Canyon and Safehouse,” this mod, created by Nox and MrBilL61 on Nexus Mods, adds a new area to the Badlands, enriching this region with new locations to explore as well as an additional safe house unlocked through a brand-new quest.

And it’s safe to say that the creators of this mod for Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t hold back. “A relic of the Unification War, many nomads have gazed upon its weathered facade; but few dare venture to its very gates“, reads the lore description. “No one really knows why Militech left, but many have tried to seize it. Each time, however, the facility’s still-active and deadly defenses kept them at bay”.

“Until an unorthodox team of mercenaries, with unfinished business in Night City, managed to breach its security barriers and seize it, making it their base of operations for a while”, the mod’s creators add. “Now, it’s time to reclaim it. Or rather, it’s inviting us to do so”. Such a description is sure to pique the curiosity of Cyberpunk 2077 fans, who can now extend their game experience with a new adventure definitely worthy of a true DLC.

How to get access to the mod ?

To access the content of this mod, you must first reach Act 2 of Cyberpunk 2077 and meet Takemura at Tom’s Diner during the “Playing for Time” mission.
