With FF7 Remake Intergrade coming soon to Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2, the series’ producers have been sharing a wealth of details, whether about what’s in store for the next installment or what comes after the trilogy. And the updates don’t end there, as FF7 Rebirth still has more to offer.

New Update for FF7 Rebirth Now Available on PC

Several months after the release of version 1.003, Square Enix rolled out a new update for FF7 Rebirth on PC yesterday, with version 1.004 now available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. This update not only improves the overall stability of the game on these platforms but also addresses several bugs and, most notably, adds support for DLSS Multi Frame Generation, a highly requested feature by the PC community.

As for the PS5 version, there doesn’t appear to be any patch on the horizon, at least not yet, though FF7 Rebirth fans are still hoping that some of the improvements included in the PC version will eventually make their way to Sony’s platform. That said, much like FF7 Remake, it’s possible we’ll need to wait for the game’s release on Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2 before these features are introduced. As Square Enix has stated, it’s only a matter of time before this happens.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has been updated on both Steam and Epic Games Store.

• Bug fixes and functional and stability improvements.
• Added DLSS Multi Frame Generation support.
• Improvements to overall game stability including some bug fixes. pic.twitter.com/Nrc3UTgOgZ
— FINAL FANTASY VII (@finalfantasyvii) November 4, 2025

In fact, rumors suggest that FF7 Rebirth will follow a similar release schedule to its predecessor, which is set to launch on January 22 across multiple platforms. If everything goes as planned, the first two installments of the trilogy should be available on all platforms by 2026. As for FF7 Remake 3, fans will likely have to wait a bit longer. However, since FF7 Rebirth was announced just two years after FF7 Remake, we may get our first glimpse of it sooner than expected

Source : Square Enix

[1
56,57,41,39
post-71619","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-ff7","tag-ff7-rebirth","tag-pc","tag-xbox","generate-columns","tablet-grid-50","mobile-grid-100","grid-parent","grid-33
["GET
