Ghost of Yotei Gets a New Update, Here’s Everything That’s Changed

Table of content Table of content

Ghost of Yotei is now six months old, and last month welcomed its long-awaited Legends mode, a cooperative experience pitting players against demons and creatures drawn from Japanese folklore, packed with gameplay additions that build meaningfully on Ghost of Tsushima’s foundation. Sucker Punch made clear at the time that the DLC launch was just the beginning, with long-term support promised for the title. That commitment is already being honored with a fresh update.

A News Update is Available for Ghost of Yotei

Ghost of Yotei moves to version 1.600 with a range of additions and improvements across the board, though much of the focus naturally falls on the recently launched Legends mode, which benefits from welcome stability adjustments. The headline addition is the arrival of the Raid for Legends mode, though it won’t be available until April 10th, 2026, rather than immediately alongside the patch of Ghost of Yotei.

Beyond the Raid, Ghost of Yotei’s update 1.600 brings a significant reduction to the spiritual and ultimate energy granted by the “Spirits” ability, the one for frenzied enemies to target one another, improved visibility of corruption zones, and a fix for a bug that was rendering the Oni boss invincible. New Legends mode equipment has also been added to the collection, including the Weightless Spirit and four new charms. Alongside the extensive list of Legends additions and tweaks, the update also touches the base game, though with smaller-scale fixes and improvements to the main menu. Here are the full 1.600 patch notes :
