As millions of players explore every corner of Crimson Desert‘s enormous world, its secrets are slowly but surely coming to light. The map is packed with hidden treasures, Easter eggs, and special weapons of extraordinary power, and one of them has taken social media by storm this weekend.
A jaw-dropping weapon discovered in Crimson Desert
YouTuber KhrazeGaming recently compiled a list of around ten mind-blowing items hidden throughout Crimson Desert. One of them stands out above the rest, a remarkable weapon capable of summoning powerful gusts of wind, conjuring tornado-like attacks straight out of an anime or Dynasty Warriors. Crimson Desert has never been shy about wearing its inspirations on its sleeve, and this latest find is no exception.
“That’s Avatar Kyoshi,” “it looks like Naruto”… The reactions on social media have been immediate and enthusiastic, and understandably so. The weapon in question channels the airbending power of Avatar: The Last Airbender’s titular hero, and draws clear comparisons to a certain fan-favorite character from the Naruto manga.
A weapon that’s as destructive as it is spectacular
The item is called the Eastern Witch’s Fan, and it can be found on the central island between the Bay of Abundance and Demeniss Port, hidden inside a cave carved into the mountainside. Once in hand, it lets players command the wind to launch enemies into the air and wipe out groups of ten or more in one fell swoop. It’s also capable of destroying certain structures outright, making it a devastatingly effective tool for capturing otherwise heavily fortified outposts.
And the Eastern Witch’s Fan is just one of many extraordinary pieces of equipment waiting to be uncovered in Crimson Desert. Some have already been found, others are still out there, hiding in plain sight. Pearl Abyss’s action-RPG shows no signs of running out of surprises, and its player base continues to grow.
