According to him, the game is unlikely to be released before 2028, with a strong chance it could be pushed into 2029.
This would explain Bethesda’s long period of silence regarding the game. Given that we’re already nearing 2026, it seems Bethesda may start sharing more information within the next two years. However, it’s becoming clearer that fans will likely have to wait three or more years before they can get their hands on the game.
This extended timeline also raises questions about the platforms The Elder Scrolls 6 will be released on. If the game comes out by the end of the decade, we can expect the new Xbox and PlayStation consoles (currently referred to as the PS6) to be available by then. A release spanning two console generations could be tricky. If the game is cross-platform, will it be optimized for both generations?
