There’s no sugar-coating it: Call of Duty Black Ops 7 has had a tough start. The game has been heavily criticized by players for its lackluster campaign and heavy reliance on AI, making it one of the franchise’s most challenging launches to date. Additionally, it’s been struggling to keep up with Battlefield 6, which has been met with widespread praise and quickly gained a loyal following. However, for Activision, the war is far from over, and they’re now readying their strongest reinforcements.
Season 1 Content for Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Revealed
Less than two weeks after the release of Black Ops 7, the team has already revealed the game’s first season, which is being called « the biggest Season 1 in Black Ops history. » It’s hard to dispute that claim after seeing the extensive roadmap released by the studio, packed with content for both Call of Duty Black Ops 7 and Warzone. This season promises something for every type of player, from Endgame and Multiplayer modes to Zombies, ensuring a diverse experience for all.
As expected, Call of Duty players can look forward to a host of new features, including a dozen new maps, additional game modes, and exciting limited-time events. Fan-favorite content from previous seasons will also make a return, alongside a wide array of new weapons and gear to equip on the battlefield. These additions are designed to spark renewed interest in both Call of Duty Black Ops 7 and Warzone, with all the new content set to go live on December 4, 2025.

As always, players who purchase the Battle Pass will unlock a range of exclusive rewards, such as new weapon blueprints, operator skins, calling cards, finishing moves, emotes, and much more. To access these premium items, players will need to purchase the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Weapons Vault edition, priced at $109.99 at various retailers, or upgrade from the Standard edition for $29.99.
Free Content for All Players
In an effort to regain the goodwill of their community, the creators of Call of Duty have also announced a free skin for all players, set to release on December 4, 2025. Named « The Replacer », this skin is modeled after actor Peter Stormare, a familiar face to Black Ops fans for his role in Black Ops 2. It’s a nice gesture for Call of Duty Black Ops 7 players, particularly given that this skin was previously available for a small fee in Black Ops 6.

The replacer was no small fee it was 26 dollars for that stupid skin. All black op 7 is trash. Not worth it.
